YouTube hides public dislike counts
YouTube · · Feature degradation
YouTube made dislike counts private on all videos. The dislike button stayed, but only creators can see the total, in YouTube Studio.
Why it counts
Viewers lost a quick public signal of whether a video was misleading or low quality.
